Regular posting of orders resumes 4th Jan

Hey guys, here at Mama Feelsgood we are now on our christmas break so won’t be posting in bulk until the 4th of January again.

The next available date for posting is on monday the 28th and we will be posting a few parcels then but cannot resume our bulk deliveries until the 4th Jan (due to Royal mail situation here), so if there is a shirt you want in a hurry either send us an email help@mamafeelsgood.com  and state your order number etc or you’ll have to wait until the 4th for it to be sent.

We’re real sorry dudes but being a 1 man band we have to take a break sometimes to chill at christmas ourselves! Of course if you have an emergency then just email or leave a message on our answer phone and we will get back to you.

I still hate pickles – cool pregnancy blog

I must say i don;t read too many blogs, some stores which i really like do cool blogs but you really gotta be feeling the person writing the blog to read it on a regular basis i think.

I Still Hate Pickles     is a blog about a ladies trip through pregnancy and the emotions and sorta everyday life being faced by women with a child and going through another pregnancy. I just like the frankness of it and it;s refreshing to read, it doesn’t sugar coat things or makes things  worse than what they really are / were.

I thought the recent post about remembering the previous labour of her first child was really cool, very similar (in the description of the pain etc) to my own labour, although i was induced and ended up with an emergency c-section. Here’s the article

What were you experience like during labour? And if you are having a 2nd , 3rd , 4th pregnancy do the other previous labours put you off?

Association of breastfeeding mothers – giving support with breastfeeding

Sometimes there is support available but it’s just knowing where to look for it, and sometimes when you need it the most you need it quickly and haven’t got time to look for it. Well thats what i thought anyway about a lot of things especially concerning matters after after child birth and raising my child. Breastfeeding is not something that we can practice , we are just kinda thrown into it and sometimes expected to get on and do it and know what we are doing, well take it from me i certainly wasn’t like that and i feel if i had known where to look for advice a little sooner then i would have continued nursing my child for longer.

Breastfeeding is not for everyone, but a lot of women feel that if they had just received a little more support they would have continued to to breastfeed for longer. One organisation i have found that gives support to nursing mothers is the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers. They have a telephone helpline which is open to anyone :

Breastfeeding Support Hotline.

08444 122 949

Please ring our counselling helpline to speak to one of our fully trained Breastfeeding Counsellors for breastfeeding support and information.

Their website is currently under construction but hopefully soon will be up and running again, they also produce a few times a year a magazine which has lots of information and real life stories of mothers and their breastfeeding experience. Here’s their website address: http://www.abm.me.uk/our%20magazine.htm

Getting close to Christmas – nursing clothing for your special lady

What a great idea why not buy your partner / friend a nursing top for christmas 🙂

OK so i would say that considering i run a breastfeeding clothing brand !But it would make a good surprise and it is practical and it is something for the lady herself and not the baby.

Being 6 months pregnant myself and it is approaching christmas my dad asked me what i would like for christmas in the way of a present- he suggested maybe baby clothes or a cot……. hmmm sorry i don;t sleep in a cot and baby clothes would def not fit me. Don;t know if i am on my own in this but people don;t offer to buy my husband baby things as his present for christmas……

I am truly not un grateful as i am 36 now and don;t really expect anything for christmas at all (well apart from my husband who would be in deep do do’s if he didn;t get me anyhting!) but baby things?

ALthough maternity clothes or nursing clothes are different as they are for me and would make me feel good and more comfortable.
