Right now we are making the final move to our new office (well in fact we have 2 offices but that is a long story) and we are finding lots of nursing shirts that some how have found themselves down the back of the shelves ! So they are a bit dusty or there are a few that have random marks on them from manufacturing and we cannot sell; so the nice people that we are we are giving them away to ladies who need them far more than us.

The best way we have found to do this is via our facebook fan page because it’s quick and it seems it’s a fair way of doing it as everyone gets a shot.Of course if you are not a member of facebook you can always leave your name under this message to be entered but the easiest way is via facebook.

We also run competitions and give heads up on new or upcoming stock on our facebook page too, and also it’s a great place to get your advice on what you want to see on our website, and the kinda breastfeeding clothes you want to see made. So come on over, say hi, and as BT say it’s good to talk ….ok type maybe !

Looking for a great nursery in Bristol ? Saplings is well recommended

It’s SO hard trying to make a choice about which nursery to choose if you or when you need one; i think for such important issues such as this personal recommendations are really important along with getting down to the nursery itself and checking them out. I can personally recommend Southmead Saplings nursery; it’s part of the Southmead hospital nursery and is open to employees of the North Bristol Trust and also private customers too.

As you go into Southmead hospital from the entrance where A & E use to be it’s on the right hand side in the big nurses block, it has parking right out side which is essential really so there are no issues of parking and having to cart your children and their bags miles. The staff are so friendly, when i worked in the Biochemistry lab Amelia my 1st daughter was there for 3 1/2 years (not in one stint ha ha i did pick her up in between!) , she did 2 days per week and she loved it, and i am not joking or sugar coating it when i say that. I regard the ladies there who looked after her for that time friends, they have always looked after my children very well and i totally trust them 100%.

They are open 5 days per week, 8am – 6pm (although if you need a 7am start they can do this but you have to pay the extra hour)

Their age range is 3 months to 5 years

Employees to NBT and also non-employees can have places. They have different day rates depending upon NBT employee or not.

Anyone going to the Baby Show @ Earls court later this month?

Mama Feelsgood aren’t exhibiting there this year but a lot of companies we like and know are and i was thinking i might pop up with baby Erin and see what’s occuring.

When i say pop up it isn’t quite that simple as we are based in Bristol so would have to catch the train as i don’t do motorways ( i do have a good reason which a bit too gross to share) although i haven’t looked into the cost of a train ticket , i won;t expect it to be cheap but i think i might be shocked at the inflated price.

Any hooo we could meet for a cuppa tea & a bun 🙂

If you are in Bristol and are at a loose end Saturday then go check out Southmead & Frenchays hospitals Nursery fair. It’s 1-4 pm in Frenchay hospital ( the grass bit up the top where the landing pad is ).

Amelia my eldest daughter went to Southmead nursery and she loved it, the staff there are super nice & i consider a lot of them to be my friends so when they wanted a local business to doante their top raffle prize i was honoured to do so.

There are games and fun things to do for little ones,and just remember all money raised goes towards the nursery.

Bambino Goodies – fabulous site for babies, kids & parents

There’s not lots of site that keep coming up with consistent gems in regard to new products available for families but i gotta say Bambino Goodies  is one of them.

Every time i check their blog out i always find things that i’d love to own (ok so some of the products are a little on the pricey side, for example i was looking for some funky wallpaper for my new babies room and found this on Bambino Goodies , expensive as they charge by the Sq Metre but when you think of how long it’s gonna be on the wall, in my case a longtime because i hate decorating then it kinda becomes more affordable).

Bambino Goodies covers a whole range of products from childrens clothing ,

Furniture and Decor , Mama’s gear (of which we are very lucky here at Mama Feelsgood to say we have been featured 🙂 )

Juno featuring Jennifer Garner on SKY movies saturday night

I have never seen this film before and my friends tell me i am missing out, so it’s on SKY movies tonight. I didn;t even realise Jennifer Garner (AKA  Mrs Affleck) is in it (i always thought she has really nice dimples and is well under rated as an actress).

So i’m going to sky plus it as it’s my friend Louise’s birthday tonight and we are going out. Just looked up the blurb about Juno on Wikipedia and this is what it had to say

Pregnant Tess Daly leaves BBC1 Strictly Come Dancing

 

Singer Alesha Dixon is reportedly being tipped to stand in for Tess Daly on the upcoming series of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.

According to the Sunday Mirror, the show’s bosses are considering signing the former winner of the show to cover presenting duties during Daly’s maternity leave.

A source said: “Bosses hope that she will help give the show a bit of a shake-up alongside Bruce Forsyth.”

“They have been keen for her to have a role on the show for some time but so far have struggled to find an opportunity to bring her in. But Tess’s pregnancy is the perfect opening.”

Tess, 37, who is expecting her second child in June with presenter husband Vernon Kay i think is really great on strictly come dancing . The timing of the show and her pregnancy just don’t coincide so thats a shame because it would be great for more pregnant women to feature on prime time TV.

We which her all the best with her pregnancy and fingers crossed she’s back presenting the 2010 edition of strictly com dancing 🙂
